The Imaginaries - Sleeping Without Eyelids

information is in the air, in the dark, in the light, in the space that we think no one can see
it flows through our eyes and attcks vicerally
a man once told you a wise thing though now listning you regret
"sleep is just a temporary coffin for your head"

a wall, a sheild, a barrier is needed
to keep us from each day feeling lost and defeated
our eyelids are the answer, the code and the key
help us imagine a place to be free

walk through the frame of a blind man's lens
see third for him and you shall be clensed
of all of your sins, your wrong doings, your foul
two sharp eyes watching over you, look closely as they howl

see through the lies they continue to tell
find a pattern, you can see it well
washed over again, washed over again
looking through the mirror
looking to the stars inside

see through the eyes of the blind man's dog
a constant shroud of confusion and fog
the same when he wakes up as when he goes to sleep
cool blue reason pullling him in too deep

walk around the block synchronize your clocks
look up at the sky, the seagulls in a flock
battered down again, by the weight of the sky
the sky is coming down, make peace before you die
